Darren Meunier Metal Art

Hello. My name is Darren Meunier. My wife Diane and I raised our two sons outside of Lloydminster, near Hillmond. 

I grew up on a farm near Marwayne. I went into the welding trade after high school and worked mostly in the oil patch. With plenty of scrap metal bins available, I collected many unique pieces, which gave me materials, to build on my ideas. I’ve been working with metal most of my life. I  started as a kid using Dad’s old AC buzz box welder. 

Over the years I’ve seen a lot of amazing metal art. This has inspired me to create my own pieces. It’s a great outlet and there’s always the challenge to try and create something new.
