CSA bags

The Midwest fresh CSA program is a Community Supported Agriculture program. We grow vegetables and fruits in our gardens and put together a great selection of ready to harvest items to supply to you ! The $35 bags are only ready to harvest vegetable selections . The 60$ bags are a mixture of vegetables and fruit grown on our farms and BC fruit will be available to the 60$ bags only .

Example of a week - 35$ bag - 1lb shelling or sugar Anne snap peas
-bunch of beets 
-1lb yellow or green beans
-3lb new potatoes
-bunch of spring onions
-1lb baby carrots
-Swiss chard

Example of a week- $60 bag -
-5lb red or white potatoes
-1lb shelling peas or sugar Anne’s snap peas.
-1lb of green and yellow beans =2lb total
-1 lb baby carrots
-bunch of kale or Swiss chard
-spinach 120g
-tomatoes
-cucumbers
-2 herbs.
    ⁃    the bc fruit will work out to retail pricing of the prices charged to us that week some fruit is grown on our farm. We will factor the BC fruit into the pricing of the bags you may get one or two less vegetable items due to this . You can opt out of the fruit if you wish .
Each week is a different selection of vegetables you do not get to choose what goes into your bags as it’s what is ready and you will get what is ready before it goes into the stores . We will have over 40 selections of fruit and vegetables over the season.
